Outdoor Dining Season
Outdoor dining season is here! Sure, the photo below represents the most aspirational take but let this be your motivation for the upcoming al fresco season. Whether you're relaxing in a cozy city garden with a quaint dining nook or lounging in a country garden with a charming pergola or porch, there are few things that scream spring more than eating outdoors. Let’s bring this party from inside to out!
If your’e like me, over the past few years, your gardens have become more than just patches of greenery. They're like our second living/dining rooms, where we grow plants, food and reset our brains and body through relaxation, meditation, great conversation and yes, amazing meals.
Now, when it comes to crafting the perfect outdoor dining spot, there are loads of fun approaches to consider. I’ve gathered up a few essentials to consider as you dial in your outdoor space and get ready for the outdoor dining season.
First up are some madre picnic napkins. Beautiful to the touch and eye, they’re an essential for any organic garden party. Muted tones go a long way.
From there we add a seagrass pitcher. Nothing screams barefoot cocktails more than these beauties. Although directional you’ll be surprised at how versatile they are in a variety of settings.
Those yummy cocktails you made in your seagrass pitcher aren’t going to drink themselves. But the first step is a cute little vessel. Enter these cute and colorful old-fashioned glasses. Feel free to get loose as they’re shatterproof.
Your seasonal fruit that every garden party needs will need a friend to hold them. Enter this handmade berry bowl by Rachael Pots. I love these for all things berry. You can go straight from a rinse to onto the table. Easy to wash and always a crowd pleaser paired with your favorite seasonal fruit.
Last but not least is probably the most essential tool for any garden party involving food—collapsible woven food tents. Is there anything worse then setting up your spread only to your neighborhood bugs fly on over. This is a great way to protect your food until you’re ready to dig in.
So, who's up for turning their outdoor space into the ultimate outdoor dining spot? Cheers friends!
